Daughters of Tradition

A White Bison, Inc. program for girls age 8-13, this group is offered throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings, from 5-7pm.  There is no fee for this class.

Participants begin with a family-style meal.  Curriculum helps the girls deepen their knowledge of their culture, growing in self-confidence and strengthening peer relationships.  The girls learn how respect for Elders, Parents, Self, & Earth can lead to a healthy set of values for living.  Girls also become aware of and discuss feelings, and learn to avoid unsafe situations.  This group helps the girls develop peer support for healthy living.

The group concludes with a fun art project, game, or activity.
